Cuna de Tierra obtains Gran Bacchus de Oro in the most important Spanish wine competition

During the last week of April, a hundred top-level international judges gathered at the spectacular Gran Casino de Madrid, turning Madrid temporarily into the world capital of wine.

Masters of Wine, Masters of Sommeliere, oenologists, journalists and specialized critics evaluated 1,747 wines from 17 countries in the only Spanish competition endorsed by the OIV, confirming BACCHUS as one of the top ten world wine competitions.

Important Mexican wineries sent more than 200 wines to Madrid, obtaining 27 medals that reflect the quality and diversity of the country's wine regions, with Guanajuato, Baja California, Coahuila and Querétaro standing out in this table.

Hacienda San Miguel Nebbiolo, produced by Cuna de Tierra, one of the 37 wines that obtained Gran Bacchus Oro, transmits the unique characteristics of the terroir of Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, with the expertise and experience of the renowned Mexican winemaker Juan Manchón, who is consolidated as one of the main exponents of modern Mexican oenology.
